Chairman of Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly meets with Turkish MP

Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov has met with member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, head of the Turkey-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group Samil Ayrim.

The chairman of the Supreme Assembly congratulated Samil Ayrim on his election as a member of the Grand National Assembly and head of the Turkey-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group. He touched upon the history of relations between Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Turkey. Vasif Talibov hailed Samil Ayrim`s contributions to the development of the bilateral ties.

Noting that he previously visited Nakhchivan, the Turkish MP praised the rapid development of the Autonomous Republic over the past period. Samil Ayrim stressed the importance of relations between Turkey and Nakhchivan.

Consul General of Turkey to Nakhchivan Mehmet Emin Kiraz was present at the meeting.
